The Princeton University Department of Politics presented the 2017 George Kateb Precepting Award to five doctoral students whose excellence in teaching made them remarkable. Based on the year’s mandatory confidential undergraduate evaluations, department leadership was unable to choose the usual three award winners from the top five. Therefore, though unusual, the award was presented to the following students, who will also receive a monetary prize.
The award recognizes the uniquely beloved teacher and colleague George Kateb, William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Politics, Emeritus, at Princeton University, well known for his dedication to his students.
