WAPD Graduate Seminar: Nils Hägerdal

Talk title is “It’s the Economy, Habibi: Variation in Return among Forcibly Displaced Christians in Mount Lebanon.”

Nils Hägerdal holds a PhD degree from Harvard University and is a fellow with the Niehaus Center at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University during the 2016-17 academic year.

HIs research interests lie at the intersection of Comparative Politics and International Relations and concern ethnic conflict, international security, and politics of the Middle East. He speaks Arabic (Modern Standard and Levantine dialect) and spent the 2013-14 academic year at American University of Beirut doing fieldwork.
